COVID-19 SERVICES UPDATE

According to a recent survey conducted our team at Know The Truth, 48% of surveyed students reported using and/or knowing someone who started using a new substance since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chemical health prevention education is more important now than ever. In efforts to make our evidence-based prevention education more readily available to all in these virtual times, we have developed two new formats for our presentations. In addition to our In-Person presentations, we are now proud to offer the following:​

 

Pre-Recorded Virtual Presentation: For schools who allow students to complete assignments on their own time, we recommend our Pre-Recorded Presentation. Students will be given a link to a password protected video of our substance use prevention presentation. To keep the students engaged during the presentation, we will also offer you a worksheet with questions (and answers) that they can turn in to ensure they have watched the video. Students will still be able to ask questions with immediate feedback through our 24/7 Anonymous Text Hotline.

 

Live Virtual Presentation: If your school is choosing to forgo in-person classes utilize either Google Classroom or ZOOM, we are able to offer a LIVE presentation to be given during your typical class time! Students will experience the same presentation as our In-Person services but through Google Hangouts or ZOOM. Students will still be able to ask questions with immediate feedback through the chat feature, on the call, or through our 24/7 Anonymous Text Hotline.
