KNOW THE TRUTH
Know the Truth™ Prevention Program currently facilitates chemical health support groups in the Anoka-Hennepin and Fridley school districts.
There are seven high schools in Anoka County that we are currently serving. We host three groups per school and provide one-on-one meetings with students.
The groups are split into different areas of focus, tailored to best fit the current needs of the students who attend. The three group options are as follows:
Students who are currently struggling with substance use.
Students seeking recovery.
Students impacted by a family member or loved ones substance use disorder.
Our mission is to help students overcome the challenges in their lives, learn to live a chemical free life, teach them how to support loved ones struggling with addiction and set healthy boundaries.
Chemical health support groups are an opportunity for students to open up about their struggles and gain support from a trained prevention specialist and other students faced with similar challenges. The groups provide evidence based curriculum to work towards practical changes in their lives. These chemical health support groups are facilitated on an annual contract basis per school district.
